So I've realized that when you google my name, it pulls this blog up. So after several people told me that they have stalked this dead blog, I have decided to resurrect it. So today is the the first day of my new life. I'm posting and waiting to see if anyone even notices. My life has become, increasingly interesting lately. It seems that weekly I have had to deal with twists and turns of events. So for your entertainment purposes I will do a quick re-cap. I'm not writing these to gain sympathy or anything, and I can laugh about these all now, so you should too.
September 5th: I hung out with a friend from ASU that night, and we ended up in a big fight. I left ASU all upset and went to my cousin Melissa's condo to get some rest. I woke up the next morning, planning on spending the day at Barnes and Noble. I wanted to buy a book, relax and calm down. So I spent the mornin
g getting ready. I pack up and go out to the parking lot.... "Oh wait. Where is Gary (my truck)? Oh man!" Apparently when you park in the wrong spot, people feel the need to have your truck towed. Yep, Gary got kidnaped.
So I spent the next few hours on the phone trying to figure out how to rescue him, only to find out that it is a Saturday. You can't get your car out of the impound on a Saturday. Oh, and you can't get them out on a Sunday
either. I had to wait till Monday.
September 8th: YEAH!!!! I get to go get my truck today! My wonderful sister-in-law, Rachel, offered to take me to the impound. Once I got there I got to stand in line for thirty minutes. I get so lucky huh!? So I get to the front on the line and they tell me that Gary doesn't belong to
me. He's technically my fathers. I have to get a notarized note from dad saying that I can get my truck back. So Rachel drove me all the way out to tempe (where dad works) and dad got a letter prepared for me. Then we turn around and go back. I get to stand in another half our line. SUPER lucky!! So they finally give me my truck back. I get in to drive home.... great, they left me with no gas.
September 9th: I'm so happy to be reunited with Gary. I had a hard day of work with Curt, and Rachel invites me to stay for dinner. I told her I haven't seen my mom and dad in a while and I should go eat with them. I'm so excited to go home and eat. So I'm jamming out in my truck and I look behind me (I have no rearview mirror) I see the police are on my tail. Lights and sirens blazing. They can't be trying to pull me over?... Right? Oh yes they are. But there is no shoulder on the right side! Oh I see, the CRAZY police officer wants me to cross opposing traffic and pull into the dirt lot over there.
Long story made short, they cite me for speeding, and tell me I can go. I'm getting ready to leave and he says, "Oh, wait... can you please step out so that I can search you and your vehicle for drugs." This would have seemed strange, except this isn't the first time this has happened to me. "Sure officer. Go for it. Violate me and my property." P.S. He found nothing but the cell
phone charger that I'd been looking for for ages. Thanks Officer!
September 25th: The Office premiere!!! Me and some friends are hanging out after the show ends and I get a little excited and drive recklessly... I hit a curb and pop a tire. But I think I hurt the curb more than it hurt us. Great. So one of the girls brother has to come help me figure out how to drop my spare tire and change it. Everyone leaves and its all going fine. I start cleaning up and guess who shows up? MORE cops!!! SO super lucky!

It started out with just an officer and him wanting to check why I was parked on the side of the street. Then another cop car showed up. And he asked me if he could just "take a look around in the truck... you know. For anything that might impair my judgement..."
Ok, granted that I did just hit a curb, but honestly..... DO I LOOK LIKE A DRUGY?
Then a third cop shows up! This new cop is looking over all my information and realized that it is now 12:30 a.m. on September 26th.... The day before my birthday... so what did he do? Sang "Happy Birthday" to me of course. I didn't think that he was as funny as he thought he
was.
October 10th: I have to go to traffic school to take care of my ticket. Between the guy next to me (who was BLATANTLY cheating off of my paper), and the woman behind me (who was snoring like crazy!), I was so glad for it to be done! To prevent falling asleep on the road, I
drove straight to Melissa's to get some rest, and then hang out the rest of the night with some old friends.
October 11th: I wake up early and start driving home. I was coming south on Ironwood. Some Psycho was coming north on Ironwood. We both have a green light. I go straight... she is turning left... We collide.... Gary died.... :(..... Enough said

October 24th: I am out at the BioSphere2 and working oh-so hard... actually I was just counting panes for Curt. And I was walking in a safe zone, so I wasn't clipped in, but I wasn't looking at where I was walking, and I stepped on a vent screen.
I should have fallen about 80 feet, but I miraculously was able to grab onto a support structure and only fall about 6 feet. Curtis ran over and rescued me.... no big. Thanks bro.

So anyway there you have it. I can't wait to see what happens this week.
